Self-service and EMN8® well received at FS/TEC
October 15, 2007 - San Diego, Ca. - Self-service was one of THE hot topics at this year's FS/TEC, held in Atlanta October 10-13th, and it created a significant opportunity for EMN8® to showcase its self-service applications and kiosk. EMN8®'s high resolution graphics, cash capabilities, seamless integrations, and experience in the QSR segment make it easier for its customers to implement programs that achieve both customer service and return on investment goals.

Jack in the Box's vice president of software development, Michael Verdesca, and Hardee's franchisee and technology consultant, Dr. Jonpaul Leskie, led the conference's concurrent session on self-service before a standing-room-only crowd. The session focused on self-service and both its high relevancy and benefits to today's QSRs, and recognized EMN8® as the facilitators' current self-service partner.
The concurrent session also created a buzz on the exhibit floor. EMN8® hosted meetings with many of the top QSR brands in attendance, as well as with point-of-sale and hardware partners, including PAR, xpient, NCR, IBM, and Radiant. At the annual luncheon, the 2007 FS/TEC technology innovation award for a QSR went to Jack in the Box. The award was based on several technology-based projects Jack in the Box successfully completed in the last year, including the self-service kiosk project with EMN8® and point-of-service provider xpient. |
