SAN DIEGO, Calif., March 8, 2007 -- EMN8® Inc., a leader in technology-based self-service innovations for quick-service restaurants, today announced its newest generation of user interface development tools and software applications.

New software architecture enables EMN8® engineers to quickly add new functionality as market needs change. This allows for rapid development of prototypes and field tests for customers looking to improve drive-thru and in-store customer service.


Today, quick-service restaurant operators are looking at drive-thru, night service, take out, and gift card and frequent diner programs as areas of opportunity to increase revenue while meeting consumer demand for convenience, choice and speed. As a tool, self-service is not only cost effective but also consumer-friendly. According to the National Restaurant Association's 2007 industry forecast, close to seventy percent of the quick-service restaurant target consumer market would be likely to use self-service, if they had a choice.


The OrderM8 system is fully integrated, and communicates real time to QSR point-of-sale systems and kiosk hardware. Restaurant products and prices are fully synchronized with point-of-sale data, orders and cash and card payments are processed real time, and management reporting is centralized and simplified.
